Abstract

This editorial marks the return of the scientific journal of the Bolivian Society of Anesthesiology, Resuscitation, and Pain (SBARD) after a two-year hiatus, highlighting that research, publication, and knowledge building form an indispensable cycle for medical advancement, patient safety, and professional development. The SBARD emphasizes the need to foster rigorous, ethical, and lawful research to evaluate the real-world impact of new technologies and drugs, thereby responding to the demands of an increasingly rigorous healthcare system. The SBARD acknowledges the selfless contribution of international reviewers who elevate the journal's standards, as well as the dedication of authors who document their findings despite heavy clinical workloads.
